Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade


Come honor our true American Heroes in Downtown, Jacksonville this Veterans Day. The Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade is presented by the Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. Come join us, Wednesday, November 11th, 2015, for the patriotic parade to honor our veterans and active-duty military. This parade will feature more than 5000 participants. Participants include grand marshals, senior military officials, active-duty and retired military unites, veterans groups, local high school marching bands, military organizations, decorative floats, giant balloons, JROTC units and more! This is a Veterans Day Parade you don’t want to miss.


Beginning at 11 am, the parade route will begin at EverBank Field. This route will continue down Bay Street to Newnan Street, follow to Independent Street (which turns in to Water Street) and will end at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Attendees of the parade are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit along the parade route. Enjoy the parade with its numerous groups marching in honor of veterans and active-duty military.


The Veterans Day Parade has many groups marching out in support of the military. They range from both the veterans who have served for our country to non-military people giving their time and efforts. They show appreciation for being able to live in a nation like the United States of America, where freedom rings. Want to show your pride even deeper? Just wear our nation’s colors.


Please show your patriotic pride! If you are coming to watch the parade, it is encouraged that you wear red, white and blue as well as bringing and waving flags, banners, and signs as the parade participants go by. Wear your favorite red, white and blue attire and show your American pride! Show the nation how Jacksonville honors and celebrates our military community!
