Acoustic Nights


Jacksonville, Florida welcomes music lovers of all kinds to attend Jacksonville’s Acoustic Nights. Each month, local and regional singers and musicians perform at Bull Park Memorial, outside the Adele Grage Cultural Arts Center on Atlantic Beach. Acoustic Nights invites all who want to hear from homegrown singers and musicians to attend this musical event.


For this month, the show will be on October 25th. This free event begins at 6:00pm and ends at 8:00pm. Enjoy free music, food, and fun at this perfect venue. Be sure to bring your own lawn chair or blanket and even a picnic. Also, arrive early—as this event is known to garner over 100 audience members. In the event of bad weather, the performances are moved indoors. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free setting.


Enjoy the night by listening to as many as 20 amateur and professional performers from around the state. Enjoy the unplugged concerts of music, singing and the acoustic guitar. With musical genres ranging from Irish ballads, country favorites and popular favorites to original music by performers, this event is sure to make your night.


Hosted by Mike Shackelford, Acoustic Nights provides a unique opportunity for area professionals and novices alike to perform for the public. With a positive and supportive group of people attending, it invites camaraderie and collaboration amongst performers and strengthens the pool of talent in the region. Acoustic Nights is making Jacksonville a musical destination.


The City of Atlantic Beach, their Cultural Arts and Recreational Advisory Committee, and Timmy and Johnson and Karen Kemp in the Parks and Recreation Department have provided support for this event since 2002.
